A thriving industry

The video game market is exploding with growth. Right now there are 2.2 billion gamers worldwide. Which means the video game industry generates more revenue than the music and movie industries. In 2017, global revenue from gaming exceeded $100B and currently is on pace to reach $130B by 2020.

This thriving industry is showing no signs of slowing. Interactive entertainment is the new normal for both young and mature consumers, with digital distribution creating ever more opportunities for ongoing revenue streams.

Others became Apple staff picks on the App store, received nominations and awards and solidly landed on top ten seller lists.

We also offer investors like you the chance to invest alongside us and share our financial success.

Phantom Doctrine is a tactical historical thriller in which players lead a secret organization dedicated to fighting a global conspiracy.

The cat-and-mouse one-upmanship of espionage & counter-espionage looks incredible and makes me desperately wish Phantom Doctrine was out right now.

Editors for PC Gamer

Semblance is a puzzle platformer where your character and the world it inhabits is made of playdough. Squish, squash and deform your character and the world to solve puzzles in Semblance's soft, bouncy world.

Seemingly around every corner was another new and interesting idea, keeping this wonderfully paced journey fresh beginning to end.

Casey Gibson for Nintendo World Report

MachiaVillain is a horror mansion management game for PC, Mac & Linux, inspired by Dungeon Keeper, Prison Architect, and every horror movie cliche ever.

Do you wish you too could have an army of minions under your capable grasp? If the answer to both these questions is yes then MachiaVillain is probably right up your alley.

Take command of your submarine and gather a crew, explore the flooded world, and discover the secrets of Diluvion.

Diluvion is an absurdly ambitious #indiegame that’s a joy to dive into and simply explore.

Eduardo Reboucas for FREEDOM

A Hilarious Insult Simulator in which players must verbally take-out their friends and family in different game modes

Playing in local multiplayer mode made me laugh more in five minutes than most games manage over an entire campaign.

Train Fever is a railroad-focused business simulation game. In other words, it's a modern-day Transport Tycoon with procedural content and a sophisticated city simulation.

It brings some new flavors to a genre that has more recently just tasted bland and stale.

How do I make an investment?

Project investing requires three simple steps:

  • Pick a game project and select the amount you would like to invest
  • Follow instructions for providing information required for the investment contract - Royalty Purchase Agreement (RPA)
  • Confirm receipt of copy of fully executed contract (RPA)
  • Wire funds to Good Shepherd

How does investing work with Good Shepherd?

When making investments on the Investment portal, you will be investing in individual game projects alongside us, the publisher, under the same contractual terms. You are investing through a Royalty Purchase Agreement that entitles you to your pro-rata share in the revenues generated from sales for a period of 5 years from launch.

  • First Priority: Investors in Good Shepherd games enjoy a Preferred Return.
  • Second Priority: After the Preferred Return is satisfied, the proportional Royalty Rates between investors, publisher and developer are paid.
